PRECIX CONTROLLER:

The servo system that with its graphical user interface is designed for high speed 3D machining. The cutting performance GREATLY surpasses our competition by 2 to 3 times. The graphical interface makes learning easy. Functions such as a graphical job preview are available at the router making your job setup a snap.

STORAGE:

The fixed disk drive inside the control system, allows you to 1000’s of jobs at the router. Systems are now shipping with a minimum of 20GB of storage, which is 500 times the size of what most of our competition supply. This is very important especially dealing with complex 3D files. With the competitions systems, you would have to tie up our design computer all day to transfer multiple 10MB files. Precix allows you to leave your design station free, so it can be used for other work. We also have great design software compatibility as we use EIA 274D code to control our systems.

CONNECTIVITY AS EASY A 1 2 3:

1. Serial transfers, old technology, there if you need it. Serial transfers can sometimes be unreliable as it is susceptible to electrical noise in the environment, along with having limited distance it can transfer over.

2. Disk transfer, was implemented as we realized that not all shops are large operations, and sometimes the design computer is used for many applications. Because of this we took the approach of adding a floppy drive to the control systems, so you can easily transfer files to another building or to another machine, without having the design station attached to the router.

3. Ethernet was the third communication feature that we added to the control system. This is a break through in this market, as no other company at this price point is able to offer you this feature. As well as giving you the ability to have any number of computers connected to the router you are also able to transfer files at a extremely high speed-connected 10MB per second, 1000’s of times faster that the competition. It also allows for job management of the files in the buffer, from the design station, for tasks such as creating sub directories for each of your customers.

 NOT JUST A CONTROLLER, ARCHITECTURE FOR THE FUTURE:

Historically, machines have became obsolete because of electronics that couldn’t evolve with the changing technologies. We have broken the mold and made a system that is designed to adapt with new technologies. Since the controller is always under development, customers are not locked into the technology that they purchased with their router system. We have programmers in continual development, adding functionality, and new features to the system all the time. This will allow you to add features such as USB connectivity and 3D on screen previews when they become available. SOFTWARE DETAILS

Your current SignMaking software allows you to input text, scan or digitize logos and designs. This program will also allow you to export those images for machining in Enroute. ScanVec EnRoute 3D allows you to put machine paths on the designs imported from other programs. You can specify the kinds of bits you are using and even design your own bits.   Our 3D (from packages like Model Mill, ARTcam, Etc.) run faster than any other CNC machine in it's class.  Mold injection companies LOVE this for mold making.
